New Features : Want to learn more about each other?
Posted by Staff1 on 2003/11/11 22:41:21 (4004 reads)

What is the best way to learn about someone else in the community?

Start with their profile...

The profile area is a great way to tell others a little about yourself and to learn about others.

Here you can tell how the member is related to the child with Trisomy 18, if they have a website, and some other information about their family.

Please note that even though you fill in your real name, home address, phone number, and email address, no one can see them!. This information is only used as needed by staff to communicate important information to you and to give more background information to help us keep the site secure for all community members.

And there's another neat feature of the profile: each post you make on a public board is listed under your profile! If you want to see all the posts someone has made (like the More from feature on eScribe), go to their profile and scroll down. You will see them and you can click on them and go directly to them.

This is another way to get to know someone better. Please note that posts made on Private Boards are not shown here; they are only visible to members of that board on that board.

Please take a few minutes to fill out your profile to help others get to know you better. Not sure how? See the Guided Tour in the Upper Left corner of the site. Hope to "hear" more from you soon!
